Inpatient programs are when you stay in a residential setting. You’ll stay in the campus setting where you will remain during the length of the program. You’ll have all of your counseling sessions, treatments and group therapy meetings here.Â
Some may prefer to be immersed in a treatment program like this for 28 days. It offers a great deal of support while giving you the building blocks to recovery successfully.Â
Within this rehab setting, you can do detox. You’ll have a supportive medical team helping you get past the physical withdrawal symptoms. These symptoms can be intense and may sometimes requires medical detox. Once it’s completed, you’ll move onto the psychological reasons for abusing substances. These programs are the most intensive, usually offering the most quality treatments. They are the most expensive and some may not be able to take the time off work to take an inpatient program.
