Burien, Washington Area Drug and Alcohol Rehab and Addiction Recovery Help

Alcohol and drug rehab is available in the Burien, WA area to anyone who needs their services. But there are also additional addiction recovery options that can be of assistance as well. 12-Step meetings can be a great way to find support to stay on the right track during the healing process.

Support groups like Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous have proven to be effective. Both of these organizations have helped millions of people all over the world. They hold weekly meetings and there are never any fees for participation.

Families with addicted loved ones need a lot of support as well. It can be hard to cope with the day to day anguish of having someone with a substance abuse problem in your home. Al-Anon and Alateen are there to offer help to family members and young people. Their weekly meetings include peer support, advice and encouragement.

We are not affiliated with these organizations in any way. But we do believe that people need to know of the recovery options that are available to them in addition to detox and rehab.

Finding Alcohol and Drug Rehab Centers in Burien

There are various types of drug and alcohol treatment programs in the Burien area. They all offer a range of services, and varying levels of care.

The SAMHSA treatment locator tool indicates that there are 14 treatment centers that offer drug and alcohol rehab in the Burien area. But none of them are located directly in the city itself. They are all located in Seattle. The closest one is less than a mile away.

Most of the rehab centers in the Burien area offer outpatient services. Although there are some that do offer inpatient rehab as one of their options.

It can be difficult to choose between inpatient and outpatient rehab; this is especially true when the person is new to treatment. But many programs offer free addiction assessments that can help people make that important decision.

About Our Idaho Outpatient Rehab Program

Our outpatient treatment program in Idaho is one of the best in the region. At Ashwood Recovery, we know how hard it is to make the decision to seek help. In fact, many of our staff members are recovering addicts themselves. That makes it easier for us to create a recover program that we know will work.

We offer three levels of care, and they are intensive outpatient treatment, partial hospitalization and traditional outpatient rehab. We have a location; in Boise.

We aim to provide our clients with a personalized approach to addiction recovery. All of our treatment plans are tailored according to each client’s specific needs.

Northpoint Seattle is our outpatient program in Washington State.

Our Inpatient Drug and Alcohol Rehab Center in WA State

Northpoint Washington is our inpatient treatment program, and it is located in the City of Edmonds. It is very conveniently located for anyone who lives in the Burien area.

At Northpoint Washington they provide treatment for drug addiction, as well as for alcoholism. Their patients can access detox services as well as rehab and therapy.

Does Health Insurance Pay for the Cost of Detox and Rehab?

Many people do not realize that addiction treatment is now much more affordable than it ever has been before. This is because of the Affordable Care Act, which was signed into law in 2010. This law did much more than just require all Americans to have health insurance. It also required insurance companies to provide coverage and benefits for addiction treatment.

It is difficult to say how much a person should expect their insurance company to pay toward their treatment. Some will cover it in full – particularly if they go to an outpatient program. Others will cover both detox and rehab in part, but any copay that is required should be minimal.

At Ashwood Recovery, we know how important it is to find affordable treatment options. We are in-network with many health insurance companies for that reason. It allows us to keep our services as affordable and as accessible as possible. We work with clients who carry Blue Cross of Idaho, as well as several other insurances.

Our Drug and Alcohol Addiction Center

There are many people who need to go through drug and alcohol rehab prior to attending a 12-step support group like AA or NA. For them, a higher level of care is necessary to be successful. In a lot of cases, they also need to go through the detoxification process as well.

Detox works by removing dangerous toxins from the body, addresses the physical side of addiction and is the first step in the recovery process, quitting alcohol and drugs can cause very uncomfortable withdrawal symptoms. Once detox is complete, patients can begin treatment, rehab deals with the psychological aspect of addiction, patients begin to understand and address root cause of their addiction

At Ashwood Recovery, we offer an excellent intensive outpatient treatment program. We are located almost 8 hours away from the Burien area. Our program can be the perfect option for someone who wants to get away from home to focus on recovering.

For those looking to stay closer to home, we have an in-state outpatient and inpatient center for you.
