Here at Ashwood Recovery, we understand that addiction treatment should never be recommended with a one size fits all mindset. That's why we take the time to provide each of our potential clients with an addiction assessment to determine what types of addiction treatment they need. We often refer for:
Alcohol and drug detox is a process that allows the toxins from the substances you've been using to be purged from your body. While this is not a service that we provide here at Ashwood Recovery, we have diligently searched for the best drug and alcohol detox clinics in the country to refer our clients to. Many of the country's top addiction treatment experts agree that alcohol and drug detox should be the first step in any addiction treatment plan because it gives clients the best chance of being successful. It is important to note that detoxification should never be utilized as a standalone treatment, and some form of drug and alcohol rehab should always follow it.
There are some people who need a higher level of care that can be obtained in an outpatient setting. For these individuals, there are inpatient options. Traditional inpatient treatment is what most people think of when they consider addiction treatment, and it usually lasts for around a month. Residential treatment is for those people who need a much higher level of care, and they can usually reside at the facility for a period of several months at a time.
There are two different forms of outpatient drug and alcohol treatment - intensive outpatient treatment and traditional outpatient treatment. For those who are found to be appropriate for this level of care, starting with intensive outpatient treatment is usually the norm. Our program lasts about 12 weeks, at which point clients enter into our Continuing Care Program so that they can receive ongoing support for continued recovery and relapse prevention.
