PHP gives you extra support after rehab. You will stay in sober living and go to treatments throughout the week. They can last up to 6 months. PHP is especially ideal for someone with a complex disorder or an unhealthy home life.
If you need flexibility in a program, outpatient rehab might suit you best. You can stay at home while getting care. There are Intensive Outpatient Programs that give you a similar treatment to inpatient programs. You attend an addiction facility a few times a week for appointments. Once sessions are completed, you can go home for the day.
