It's wonderful that you've made the decision to get help for your addiction. That decision can be such a difficult one to make, but it is definitely the first step in any successful recovery.
One of the questions people often ask before they start attending IOP or outpatient addiction treatment is how long does the program last. It's important to get an answer to this question before you decide if this method of treatment is right for you.
Here at Ashwood Recovery, our IOP program is designed to be intensive enough to be effective, but flexible enough to be convenient to our clients. Our groups meet three times a week for approximately three hours each night. That gives you a total of nine hours a week that are spent working on your recovery. Clients are able to participate in support groups, family sessions and individual counseling so that they receive a well-rounded form of treatment.
Once IOP has been completed, outpatient addiction treatment is usually implemented at a schedule that works for the individual client. Some clients need a few appointments each week, while others only need to meet with a therapist once a week or a few times a month.
It's important for us here at Ashwood Recovery to stress that every client is different in regards to their addiction treatment needs. That being said, the average duration of time for our IOP is 12 weeks. Once a client moves on to the outpatient treatment program, they may be in this type of drug rehab for a varied length of time that's fully dependent upon their recovery.
If you work full time, have small children at home, go to school, or have other responsibilities that would make it difficult for you to get drug treatment, IOP or outpatient drug rehab is a great option for you to consider. Here at Ashwood Recovery, we know how busy schedules can make it seem impossible for people to get help with their addictions, and our flexible drug treatment options are designed to help you get the assistance you need for your recovery.
We'd love to have the opportunity to discuss your recovery goals with you. We're confident that we can equip you with the knowledge and tools you need to be successful. If you'd like to learn more about Ashwood Recovery, please contact us.
