SERVICES | ASSESSEMENTS

Everyone coming to Ashwood Recovery completes an addiction assessment and evaluation. They are also screened by the professional staff to determine their appropriateness for treatment. All information remains confidential and secure. Individuals admitted to the program while under the care of a medical or psychological professional may continue that treatment when appropriate. We provide drug and alcohol assessments which utilize industry standard testing instruments. Accurate results help to ensure our clients receive the proper level of care, increasing their chances of success. Test results are accepted by outside entities (i.e.; legal, custody, employers, etc.)

 

Why Do I Need an Assessment?

An accurate assessment is vital to receiving the proper care. As we have mentioned, our goal is to treat addiction at its core, not just symptoms. A proper assessment can help us identify areas of concern and ongoing themes within your life. Usually an outside perspective can shed new light and perspective on life long questions. It is also important for us to identify any co-occurring disorders, unresolved trauma, eating disorders, sexual barriers and other key life areas. Our clinicians have years of experience in the field and are keen to issues not detected by many. Whether you meet our admission criteria or not, we will find the proper program for you somewhere.
