Crystal Meth Anonymous or CMA- a 12-step fellowship for those in recovery from addiction to crystal meth. There are no dues or fees for membership. Membership in Crystal Meth Anonymous is open to anyone with a desire to stop using crystal meth. Effects of Crystal Methamphetamine

Methamphetamine's come in different forms. Some are smoked, snorted, swallowed or injected. The preferred method of use varies by region and changes over time. Smoking methamphetamine leads to very fast uptake of the drug in the brain and has become more popular in recent years.

Methamphetamine's alter the user different ways, depending on how it is taken. Immediately after smoking the drug or injecting it intravenously, the user experiences a rush or that lasts several minutes and is followed by several hours of a less intense high. Snorting or swallowing the drug causes a gradual high without the rush. Snorting produces effects within 3 to 5 minutes, smoking and interjecting the drug produces a high within seconds and swallowing produces a high within 15 to 20 minutes.

Due to the long lasting high and depressing "come down", methamphetamine is used for a few days straight with no sleep. Followed by a few days of sleeping, eating and resting. Meth use is commonly associated with considerable weight loss, supressed appetite, vampire like sleeping rituals and paranoia.
