Ashwood Recovery is dedicated to helping those in crisis as a result of addiction, mental health disorders and unresolved trauma. It is our commitment to remain passionate about assisting our clients and their families. Our vision is to provide a safe, non-judgmental environment for those seeking solutions. Ashwood Recovery will stay on the cutting edge of addiction treatment, without straying from the proven foundation of the 12-step principles.

In addition, we aim to educate and support the community in better understanding that addiction is a disease. We will offer current & non-punitive, addiction treatment that has long been lacking in the state of Idaho. Having worked with the nations leading addiction, mental health and trauma treatment providers, we wanted to make these services available to our community. Addicts and those with mental health disorders are not bad people, they are sick. Sick people need treatment not punishments and scare tactics.

Ashwood Recovery aims to treat the entire person and formulate a treatment program designed just for them. Many other programs treat only the symptoms of addiction. At Ashwood our staff addresses the core patterns and issues that have caused continual return to self destructive behaviors. In addition to degrees and credentials, many of the staff at Ashwood Recovery are in recovery themselves. When asked, our clients identify this as what helped them commit to the process of recovery. Just knowing that there is someone who has been there and is now recovering makes all the difference.
